Research interests: Research Ethics, Biobanks, Community Engagement
Blessing is a
bioethics postdoctoral fellow. He has particular experience in research ethics
systems in Africa; and has been involved in bioethics training programs such as
the South African Research Ethics Training Initiative (SARETI). Most of his
work involves empirical bioethics and social science methodology to study
ethical, legal and social issues (ELSI) in biomedical research. Together with
Prof Sarah Edwards, UCL PANDORA, he is involved in empirical work on research
ethics during epidemics.
